For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, all such programmes are hereinafter collectively referred to as “Training Courses”, and applicants are referred to as “Participants”.

These Terms and Conditions govern the registration process, cancellation, complaint handling, payment and invoicing, and all other matters relating to the legal relationship between the Organiser and the Participant.

1.2. Any Hungarian or foreign citizen aged 18 or over may participate in events organised by the Organiser, provided that they complete the electronic registration form available on the Organiser’s website at www.szinergia.hu (hereinafter: the “Website”).

2. Formation of the Training Agreement

2.1. Following receipt of the Participant’s electronic registration, the Organiser must confirm acceptance of the registration electronically by email.

The Training Agreement is concluded through the electronic acceptance of the terms of the Training Agreement and the Participant’s conduct indicating an intention to enter into the agreement, namely the submission of the registration.

Accordingly, where the parties are contracting at a distance, the agreement is concluded when the information required to enter into the agreement has been provided, these Terms and Conditions and the provisions of the Training Agreement have been accepted, where applicable, and the Organiser has sent its confirmation.

If the Organiser’s confirmation is not received by the Participant within two working days of submitting the registration, the Organiser’s obligation to be bound by the offer, and any obligation on the part of the Participant, automatically cease without any further conditions.

2.2. Where an adult education activity is subject to authorisation, the adult education agreement must be concluded in writing.

For Training Courses organised on the basis of notification, including closed-system electronic distance learning, the agreement may, at the Organiser’s discretion, also be concluded electronically in accordance with the special rules on electronic contracting set out in Sections 6:82–6:85 of Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code.

Before concluding an electronic agreement, the Organiser informs the contracting party accordingly, provides the electronic process required for concluding the agreement and records in the agreement that it was concluded electronically.

3. Termination and cancellation

3.1. The Participant may terminate the agreement. Any restriction or exclusion of the right of termination on the part of either the Organiser or the Participant is void.

The Participant may terminate the agreement in writing through the Organiser’s Customer Service, as specified in section 10.5, by sending an email directly to the training organiser.

Cancellation is free of charge up to the tenth calendar day before the Training Course.

Where cancellation takes place within nine calendar days before the Training Course, the Organiser is entitled to 50% of the participation fee.

The Organiser is entitled to 100% of the participation fee if the Participant, for any reason, attends only part of the event or does not attend and has not cancelled the Training Course by the deadline specified above.
