PMP is an international qualification for individuals that certifies proficiency in project management. It can be obtained on successful examination organized by the US founded leading project management organization, the Project Management Institute (PMI). PMI is a worldwide leading institution in project management; its continuously developing methodology is known and applied around the world. This methodology is described in a comprehensive work of literature called Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge. The qualification process of Project Management Professional is ISO conform, and is built around the PMP examination. The examination is available for those with necessary qualifications, project management experience as well as theoretical training. With a successful examination, the PMP title will be valid for three calendar years. For further renewals, so called Professional Development Units (or PDUs) can be collected through different types of project management work and training courses.
On the one hand, Szinergia Kft’s own PMPs can assist you in the preparation for a successful examination, on the other, as PMI’s Registered Education Provider (REP) we provide opportunities to collect PDUs that serve to maintain the PMP qualification.
As a first step in the preparation for the examination program, our consultants assess the individual’s level of knowledge in the subject areas of the examination, and provide guidance and hints and tips for further individual preparation. Then, as an option, we also contribute to deepen this knowledge by handing over specific materials (books, CD containing questionnaires), giving presentations, offering a series of individually tailored consultations opportunities. A further benefit of these presentations and consultations is that opportunity arises for the participants to discuss, in a limited way, their project management methods and experiences, which in turn serve to develop their applied project management techniques.
