Business Model Development

In the course of operational efficiency improvement, we create a link between the company’s strategic objectives and the possible supporting structures by the development of the business model. We also help our clients in their effort to create the most adequate structure by planning its implementation.

Business model is a tool that links the company’s strategic objectives with the supporting structure.

Based on our approach, the business model is built on four connected elements:

  • Business objectives and success factors derived from the company’s strategy
  • Corporate functional model
  • Process model
  • Organizational structure model

The elaboration of the business model, that supports the execution of business objectives, is preceded by an as-is analysis of the company’s situation. In order to obtain a realistic view of the organization’s current situation, the following seven areas should be assessed:

  • Strategy: which are the main value creating areas and what is the company’s competitive advantage?
  • Financial situation: what is the financial result of the company’s business activities?
  • Market: how can customer needs be satisfied in the markets that are attractive to the company?
  • Operational model: is the company’s operation able to implement and maintain its competitive advantage – defined in its strategy?
  • Organizational structure: do the organizational elements support operations in the most effective way?
  • Human resources / culture: where and how can human resources provide value to the organization?
  • Infrastructure: do the available resources provide efficient support?
