Szinergia and the Regional Knowledge Centers

Within the frame of the Pázmány Péter program, Regional Knowledge Centers have been and are still being established with the purpose of applying research and development results and of intensively cooperating with the industrial sector.

In 2005, we have contributed as consultants to the assembly of the tender for Szentágothai János Knowledge Center. Furthermore, we have also designed and elaborated two training programs which are still held within the Knowledge Center in the form of PhD Courses with the title Science and Project management, and Application Management.

Regional Knowledge Centers are newly created organizations with one of the most important objectives being the application of R&D results and the acceleration of the innovation process. Knowledge Centers are consortia lead by universities where organizations with different cultural backgrounds are working together.

Both their main activity and their organizational operation are new concepts in Hungary. Szinergia has actively taken part in the creation of the concept regarding Regional Knowledge Centers, in the professional support of their operation and in delivering certain elements of knowledge transfer. We have provided our consulting services to several Regional Knowledge Centers and are constantly present at the Szentágothai János Knowledge Center with the management of its PhD Course.

Dr. Zita Takács Vácziné, senior consultant, is available for any of your questions regarding Knowledge Centers. She can be reached by phone (325-5762) or e-mail.
